What's the difference between Bluetooth and Stereo Bluetooth?
Q. I'm planning on buying a new cell phone, and one of the features is stereo Bluetooth. The phone can also play MP3s, so does this mean I can listen to music through my Bluetooth earpiece?
Asked by IAmWonderWoman - Sat Mar 31 12:15:11 2007 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. In general that is what it would mean, but of course you need a stereo bluetooth headset, not just one of the generic-looking over the ear pieces. I have a phone capable of bluetooth, mp3, and stereo bluetooth, but since my bluetooth is a cheap one, I cannot hear music from it. Just make sure you check all the details before you purchase, caveat emptor

How do I sync my bluetooth headset to my G1 without having to type the passcode every time?
Q. I was able to connect to my headset with one click on my Blackberry, but it seems I have to jump through a series of hoops to do the same on my G1. I hate having to go into settings/wireless/bluetoo th/turn on bluetooth/type passcode, every single time. Is there a faster and easier way to sync? Preferably from the G1 desktop?

How can I connect multiple bluetooth devices to one laptop simultaniusly?
Q. I bought a Motorola bluetooth earpiece with it's bluetooth USB transmitter. Then I bought a bluetooth mouse for bluetooth laptops. Now, I can use only one at a time. When I am using my earpiece, I can't discover the mouse. I have to disconnect from the earpiece first. Same goes for the mouse. Is this come configuration limitation, a driver limitation or is it a limitation of the bluetooth technology?
Asked by AgronCAS - Mon Sep 10 07:50:50 2007 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Theoretically bluetooth can handle 79 different connections at the same time, which means realistically it should be able to handle much more than one, so what you are running into is either it is a limitation of your specific hardware or drivers or there is so much radio interference where you are doing this that there is only one clear channel for any device to use. I hope that made sense.

A. first thing you should do is to confirm whether the bluetooth device is installed and working properly or not. 2nd you need to check is that bluetooth device is ON and VISIBLE to other devices. Get bluetooth device to search for other devices.. rest of the setup is simple. Hope this will help. // Feel free to comment.

A. from what i understand your phone is already able to connect through bluetooth to your pc, but the remote control doesn't work in order for the remote control to work, your computer must have enabled the "Human interface device" service for bluetooth, i'm guessing this is the problem look for "Human interface device" in your Device Manager (if you're using windows) and in your bluetooth configuration. this is all you need to have on your computer for the remote control to work. you need to enable this Human Interface Device, you can look for ways to enable it by checking your Bluetooth configuration or you can try reinstalling your Bluetooth on your computer and see if it asks you about this

A. does your computer have bluetooth built into it ? Bluetooth is the radio format that is used to connect bluetooth enabled devices together. Ie: a bluetooth enabled phone woudl allow you to connect a bluetooth enabled headset. if you have bluetooth device in your computer then winXP shoudl recognise it and allow you to turn it on. Check your settting in Control Panel, System, hardware, device manager and look for a bluetooth device listed - from there you can check its propertiees and make sure it is turned on. If no bluetooth device in the computer then you will have to purchase on , for example there are devices out there to add bluetooth through your USB port. Installation is easy enough. not sure how this will interact with your… [cont.]

A. Bluetooth is a connection type, such as iR, infrared. I think your asking for a earpiece. That depends on you price range. All the new models are small and comftreble, and the sound is very clear, but the price tags start at $50 and up. If you are on a budged go for an older model. All bluetooth enabled earpieces will work on you Razor V3.

A. Bluetooth Wireless Technology is integrated into your cell phone. In order to get it to work, you need to first tuen it on in your phone (it's a battery drainer, so it's probably turned off now). You are going to need to get a bluetooth wireless headset to pair with your phone. If you don't have a headset and have a high-end car, it may come equipped with the bluetooth also. The following is the sequence to follow when pairing your phone with a bluetooth headset: From your phone: menu>settings>connection (or bluetooth)>turn bluetooth on>yes>search for devices Now, before you search for devices, make sure that your headset is charged. There is going to be a button on the phone that you will have to push in (in some cases, you may have to… [cont.]

A. All Bluetooth headsets are compatible with any Bluetooth phone. Cheapest is not always the best answer. If you check out Deal of the Day Tracker, you'll come across deals for Bluetooth sets from time to time. However, the Target near me had a Motorola stereo headset on sale for about $35 on clearance, originally priced at $129. Great deal if you can find it. It also comes with a Bluetooth adapter to attach to iPods.
