For example, here in Central California most of my friends have Cingular (like 80% of them) so I can talk to them all I want for free whenever I want. Those mobile to mobile minutes do come in handy. T-Mobile would get you the most minutes for your money. That's pretty much a given. Cingular has a lot of people to talk to, and they have Rollover, which means your unused minutes go into the next month. I find that very friendly. Verizon also has a lot of people to talk to. When you say travel... do you mean outside the country? If so, stick with T-Mobile and Cingular (they're GSM, like the rest of the world). And remember, most carriers now have a 14 to 30 day trial period where you can… [cont.] Answered by Jorge - Sun May 6 17:18:56 2007 What would have happened if our carriers were in Pearl Harbor?
Q. What do you think would have happened to the Pacific theatre war in WW2 if we had most of our carriers in Pearl Harbor and Japanese sank them along with the other ships? Would we have had enough time to re-build our fleet before the Japanese invaded Hawaii and Midway island? Also would that have had any influence on the European front? Asked by Mr SmoothHead - Tue Mar 25 16:53:06 2008 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. The Pacific would have been a Japanese lake. But I very much doubt they could have invaded our main land. They did not have the manpower. They would probably have taken Australia though and New Zealand. Most their troops were in the Mideast fighting the Germans. We would either have negotiated peace or the Pacific war would have lasted into the 1950's. However if we fought, the outcome would have been much the same. Japan was to small and too poor in resources to hold what it would have taken. We would have had to focus even more on Europe and probably had air raids on the West coast from carriers. But once Hitler was beaten Japan would have been easy to crush. If we developed the Atom bomb on schedule probably both the Germans and… [cont.] Answered by Mark H - Tue Mar 25 17:09:19 2008 From Yahoo Answer Search: "carriers" Rogers Sues Bell Over Network Reliability Smack Talk
